See the accommodation tab for hotel options near the church. We’ll try to pair you up with other guests so that you can store your bags in their car. If you don’t get a chance to do that before the ceremony, bring your bags and place them in the back corner of the church until after the ceremony. There is a cloakroom at Ashfield House where you can store your bags until you’re ready to check into your room.

Formal - it's a chance to get dressed up! As we're having a church wedding, please ensure you're dressed respectfully. No jeans, trainers or revealing clothes please!

Ashfield House, Standish, Wigan, WN6 0BQ

Ashfield House is located a short distance away from junction 27 (Standish) on the M6. Exit at Junction 27 and turn onto A5209 Crow Orchard Road. At the junction, turn left to continue onto the A5209 as it merges into Almond Brook Road. Follow the A5209 round to the traffic lights with Aldi on your left hand side. Turn right at the lights onto A49, High Street. Follow the signs to Ashfield House, which is located on a left hand turn off on the A49.

There is a main carpark near the front entrance and also a big overflow carpark. You are welcome to leave your car overnight and collect the next morning.

Whilst we love all your little ones, we have chosen to have an adult-only wedding. We want you guys to be able to let your hair down and have fun without thinking about bedtimes!

In order to manage our budget and guest numbers, only those listed on the invite can attend. That does mean that, unless specified, you cannot bring a plus one.

The music and bar finish at midnight. For anyone staying at Ashfield House the bar is re-opened at 12.30 until 1.30am – there will be no cash exchanged after midnight and all drinks will need to be credited to room tabs.
